The Middle East is at war again, and that is not particularly good for the market. The Palestinians have, after all, elected a terrorist government, and Lebanon has tolerated terrorist bases on their soil. This was to be expected sooner or later.

Great rally yesterday, but today the market is down again. A bear trap, for sure This is really boring.

Growth is bad, remember? I never did quite get that one. But growth is down and inflation is up and the market goes up because the Fed will stop raising interest rates, since growth is down. To me it sounds like stagflation - a stagnant economy and inflation as well. If the Fed accomplished that, I suppose the governors will be proud of themselves. In spite of that, the market seems to be trying to rally.

What a boring month, but maybe some action soon.
