Here's a suggestion, dont bother helping them getting potential buyers by
not providing a link on your site :) A respectable company should respond to
the allegations and attempt to defend itself rather than threatning to file
a lawsuit, any company who would threaten to sue for an allegation obviously
has bad management and business model which only hurts themselves in the
end. I especially like companys that go above and beyond what's called for
legally. I remember in the 80s, there was a case a few individuals where
dieing from Tylenol. Instead of shifting the blame to something else or
finding some other excuse, the company recalled every single bottle of
Tylenol and even advertised it in the media for people to bring them back
and they'll recieve a refund. About 7-8 months later they released a new and
improved Tylenol including child safety caps. And apparently the sales for
Tylenol were MUCH higher than it was before the recall and was outcompeting
it's competeters by far. Unfortantly there isn't to many companys that would
do this sort of thing, I know McDonalds stopped using Styrofoam in their
hamburgers and switched to plastic or cardboard boxes when CFC's was a big
deal in the media. I'm not against petwhse personally since I've delt with
them several times in the past and haven't had any problems and they do have
good prices rather than local fish stores (tho it comes out to be the same
with shipping) I dont have to be at a fish store having problems deciding
what I'm going to buy :) And I dont think I'd be one to order plants just
since there's like a minimum $60 order. I'd be much more prone to using
local stores or buying them from another individual that I know, such as htt
p://www.threeguysaquatics.com but if petwhse continues it's current business
model threatning legal action everytime something negative is said about it,
I'll probably stop supporting them by not purchasing from them anymore or
recommending them.
